Laundry detergent

Today I made my second batch of homemade laundry detergent. Can you believe it? I'm amazed at the person I've become. I never imagined I'd be attempting something like this. And when I made the first batch, I didn't really think it would work well enough to ever want a second batch. Surprisingly, the detergent has been working well and I decided I was in need of more. It's a great way to save money as a friend estimated this stuff costs about a penny per load. If you're curious and want to try it yourself, I got my recipe here.

Fun with Grammie

It's hard to believe that little J is 16 months already. The past two months she has had the special chance to spend lots of time with Grammie, my mom. We love that my parents have a condo close by and can come for extended visits! Little J LOVES going to Grammie's house to visit! She especially loves the one kitchen cupboard that has been left empty for her to play in. :)
