Rockin' Green Soap for us!

Guess what? I won a bag of Rockin' Green laundry detergent from Danielle over at Getting Kinda Crunchy! For anyone who uses cloth diapers, this stuff is awesome. Not only does it come in really fun scents, it does an AMAZING job of cleaning diapers. The inserts for Honeygirl's overnight pocket diapers were starting to get the stinkies even after a good wash. After soaking them in Rockin' Green overnight, the stink was gone. Yay! In addition, Kim, the woman who makes this great soap, makes sure that it is safe for the environment and gentle on your little one's sensitive bottom.

The Zoo

Several weeks ago, we took advantage of a beautiful day and headed to the zoo as a family...plus a couple extra in tow. Uncle S was in town, so he joined us, plus Honeygirl's favorite boy, C came along too. They had so much fun! Uncle S had a great time carrying C on his shoulders, and C loved the view! When both kids were in their strollers, we must have looked like quite the family: Two big strollers, two kiddos, and three adults. :) I think the biggest hit was eating elephant ears. Neither kiddo cared about the real elephants in the background when they had those yummy treats in their hands!

Onions

Tonight Honeygirl and my husband joined me at work for dinner. She wasn't too excited about what we had gotten her to eat, but she was really intrigued with Daddy's burger and the extras he had left in the basket. She had already had one pickle, so when she dove for the basket, I thought it was to snag the other pickle. I never expected her to do what she did instead. Without a moment's hesitation, she grabbed the huge slice of onion and took a massive bite. We sat there in shock, waiting for the all too common tongue thrust to get it back out as fast as possible. We waited, and waited.... But instead she took another bite! When asked if she liked Daddy's onion, she vigorously nodded yes! Can this really be my child? Wow.
