Random Monday

All summer long, the phone has been ringing bright and early. "This is the hospital...we were wondering if you'd like to come in early to help out." Well, I work quite a bit already, so do you think I might want to work an extra day? Probably not. Thanks for asking. So when the phone rang this morning and I was already getting ready for work, I was a bit perplexed. But lo and behold! the tides have turned! I'm not needed today! Can you believe it? An extra day off to do whatever I want! I think I'll take the dog for a walk. Maybe prune the roses. Catch up on reading. How lovely! :)
