I want to know why some people run to the hospital when they know something is wrong, but then refuse medical care once they are there. Why bother coming in at all? Why not just stay home if you're not going to let anyone run tests to see what's wrong with you? If you want to know what's wrong and get help, by all means, come on in! But if you're going to come and stay only long enough for us to realized there is something seriously and possibly deathly wrong with you, then you're going to check yourself out, forget coming in. I'd rather not know you were out there and sick. See, when you do that, we feel like failures. Our job is to figure out what's wrong and try to fix it. Leaving before we can do that makes us feel like we've completely failed. So could you just make up your mind about whether or not you want to be helped, please?
